Erectile dysfcunction Shock wave ESWT Therapy Machine to treat ED problem
What is shock wave?
Shock wave is a safe, non-invasive, for the reduction of cellulite and other improved body benefits. Various parts of the body can be treated effectively. Although there is no downtime after a treatment, it is recommended to take it easy for approximately 48 hours afterwards. A typical ESWT session takes about 30 minutes or less. Noticeable results can be achieved in just a few sessions (8-10 treatments are recommended). The cost per treatment session varies depending upon the treatment facility, area(s) to be treated; type of device shocks required and desired results.
The extracorporeal shock wave is a high-energy or low-energy shock wave, which can reach the affected area through body fluids and tissues. Through physical stimulation of the affected area, biological effects are produced, analgesic substances are secreted, local inflammatory reactions are reduced, tissue regeneration and body repair are promoted. Therefore, it has the functions of anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving, loosening adhesion and improving local blood circulation.
How does Shockwave therapy work?
Shockwave therapy works through the application of mechanical pressure pulses that causes cavitations and bubbles to form in the tendon or soft tissue area- typically areas where the blood supply is not able to reach effectively.
The pulses 'disrupt' the tendon or soft tissue, to trigger the body to start to heal itself - a process called revascularization. This makes the tendon more durable, and able to regenerate quickly - bringing better results over the longer term.
It is a safe treatment and an alternative to consider if you are possibly facing the option of a cortisone injection.
