On April 17, 2022, Huang Weifen, chief designer of the astronaut system of the China Manned Space Project and researcher of the China Astronaut Research and Training Center, introduced that according to the mission arrangement of the space station construction stage, the astronaut crew for the two manned missions has been selected. Hao Chun, director of the China Manned Space Engineering Office, said at a press conference held by The State Council Information Office that six missions will be carried out in 2022. Among them, the Shenzhou-15 manned spacecraft will be launched. The Shenzhou-15 flight crew consists of three astronauts, who will stay in orbit for six months after rotating with Shenzhou-14 astronauts [2].
On June 4, 2022, at the press conference of Shenzhou 14 manned flight mission, Lin Xiqiang, spokesman for China Manned Space Engineering and deputy director of China Manned Space Engineering Office, introduced that during the stay in orbit, the three astronauts of Shenzhou 14 crew will welcome the two experiment modules of the space station, as well as the Tianzhou 5 cargo spacecraft and Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft. It also rotated with the Shenzhou 15 flight group in orbit, and the equipment of Tianzhou 3 and Tianzhou 4 combined modules and Tianzhou core module worked normally, with the conditions for rendezvous and docking and the stationing of astronauts.
